What is TSSA and Why It Matters

TSSA stands for Technical Standards and Safety Authority — the organization that regulates all amusement devices in Ontario. Under the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000, every inflatable must meet strict provincial safety codes and guidelines.

All TSSA-licensed inflatables are required to be inspected annually, and each operating company must renew its business license every year. In addition, only certified TSSA mechanics are authorized to set up and inspect these inflatables to ensure full compliance and safety at your event.

Our Commitment to Safety

At Party Tyme Amusements, we proudly offer a large selection of TSSA-licensed inflatables — including bouncers, slides, obstacle courses, and more.

If you’re hosting an event such as a festival, fundraiser, school fun fair, or church celebration, it’s essential to rent from a company that is TSSA-licensed. This is especially important for indoor events or any gathering with more than 100 guests, whether public or private.

With our wide range of sizes, colors, and themes, we have the perfect TSSA-approved inflatable for every occasion — ensuring your event is safe, compliant, and full of fun!
